Day 13. Boston

Dis a full day tour of Boston and Cambridge, had a really interesting tour guide and learnt a lot about US history.
First stop was the US Constitution, the oldest commisioned US serving naval ship, it could still be sent into battle if required. It is the centre piece of the museum.

Some of the beautiful buildings and churches in the city

American hero Paul Revere's house and memorial statue.

The Old North church where the two lanterns were lit in the spire to warn of the British attack by sea on the towns of Lexington and Concord at the beginning of the revolutionary war.

We had lunch at the Quincy market complex that had three markets all selling food and gifts etc, the Quincy, South and North buildings. we had some british soldiers palying drums and having pics taken with the crowd.

We visited Fanuiel Hall that is still used today by presidential candidates to launch their campaingns in Boston
